Setting Up Your Senddera Account

Complete the setup wizard, admin user, and default sending server.

After installation, the setup wizard configures your admin account, default language, timezone, and first sending server. Completing it correctly avoids “works in browser but mail never sends” surprises on day one.

Access the installer or admin URL

Open https://your-domain.com (document root must point to public/). Fresh installs show the web installer; completed installs show the login page. Default path is often /login for admin.

Setup wizard steps

  1. Requirements check — PHP extensions, writable storage/ and bootstrap/cache/. Fix any red items before continuing (see server requirements).
  2. Database — host, port, database name, user, password. Use 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost on some hosts to force TCP and avoid socket errors.
  3. License / purchase code — CodeCanyon purchase code from your download page.
  4. Admin user — email and strong password. This is the super-admin; enable 2FA later if your build supports it.
  5. Company & timezone — affects report dates and scheduled send times. Pick the timezone where your team plans campaigns.
  6. Mail configuration — optional during wizard; you can add sending servers afterward.

First login checklist

  • Confirm Profile email and timezone
  • Admin → Settings — site name, logo (white-label), default from name
  • Create at least one Sending Server (SMTP, SES, etc.) and run a test email
  • Verify DNS if sending from your domain: SPF/DKIM/DMARC
  • Confirm cron is scheduled: cron jobs

Sending server basics

Navigate to SendingSending ServersAdd. Choose type (SMTP, Amazon SES, SendGrid, etc.). For quick testing, SES sandbox or a transactional SMTP with a verified sender works well.

Send a test message to yourself before importing large lists. If it fails, use SMTP troubleshooting.

Multi-user and roles

Add team members under Users (or Customers in SaaS mode) with appropriate roles — admin vs marketer vs read-only. SaaS operators: see SaaS platform setup.

Next steps

  2. Create and send your first campaign
  3. Explore automation for welcome series
